If the shower fails to drain completely or at all after showering, this process may not take place for several minutes or hours.
This is due to the surface tension of the water. For this reason, we suggest that you try the following tips:
A low flow performance may be caused by a dirty sealing screen. This video shows the cleaning process. The shower head itself may also be full of limescale. Instructions for correct descaling are shown in this video.
Sealing screens, which are included with every hand shower, cannot be replaced by normal seals. Otherwise, the dirt filtered out in the filter screen will get washed into the mechanics of the shower, which will lead to the QuickClean cleaning function not working or the sprays becoming clogged. This video shows how to clean the sealing screen.
Stiffness is usually caused by impurities in the Secuflex hose. We suggest servicing and cleaning the system. You can find instructions on how to clean your product in the installation manual that comes with it or by downloading them from the online spare parts catalog.
If the hose is still rigid after installation, carefully run warm water through it in a controlled manner.
In case you don’t know: Our hansgrohe Isiflex shower hoses feature a swivel that helps the shower hose to move, preventing it from twisting.
