The optimum installation height for the overhead or rain shower depends on individual body size. There should be a clearance of at least 20–30 cm between the spray disc and the person’s head. More measurement details can be found in the installation manual that comes with the product or in the online Spare Parts Shop.

For full showering enjoyment, the water pressure and shower head should be a good match. In most cases, the standard pressure in your bathroom will be sufficient for the rain shower to have a nice, powerful spray pattern. But if you’re unsure, please take a look at the hansgrohe installation manual for the overhead shower that you like, as this contains an accurate flow diagram. If still in doubt, your local sanitation professional will be happy to advise you further.
If the hot and cold water pipes were switched during installation, prizing open the tiles to swap the connections around would be an elaborate fix.
