We’ve compiled information on how you can maintain the sheen and function of hansgrohe products for the long term:

Generally speaking: Use a mild, citric acid-based cleaning product.

• Cleaning products containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid, chlorine bleaching lye, or acetic acid must not be used, as they can cause considerable damage.
• Never use abrasive cleaning materials or devices, such as unsuitable scouring agents and scrub sponges.
• Cleaning must be done using the prescribed cleanser dosage and exposure time of max. 10 minutes.
• When spray cleaning, be sure not to spray the cleaning solution onto the hansgrohe products; use a cotton cleaning cloth instead.
• After cleaning, rinse off with sufficient quantities of clean water.

We have compiled the following cleaning and care tips for you:

• To gently clean bathroom furniture, we recommend a clean, soft, and damp cloth. Do not use a microfiber cloth.
• Spilled substances should be removed straight away.
• Particularly stubborn stains (grease, makeup, etc.) can be removed without residue using soapy water or delicate detergent. Then wipe the surface dry.
• Make sure there is no residual water on the edges or backs of the furniture.
• As a basic rule, do not use scouring agents or cleaning products containing alcohol to clean high-gloss surfaces.
• After the protective film is removed, it can take up to three weeks for high-gloss surfaces to completely harden. Please treat them with care during this time, and do not clean or wipe them. 
• Please always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. 

To thoroughly clean your wash basin, we recommend the following steps:

• Use a mild cleaning product or a white vinegar and water mixture.
• Wipe the surface with a soft sponge or cloth.
• You can remove stubborn stains using a soft brush or a cleaning sponge.
• Thoroughly rinse the wash basin using clean water and dry it with a clean cloth. 
• Please always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. 

We have compiled the following tips for you:

• Use a toilet cleaner or toilet bowl tablets to clean the toilet bowl.
• Leave the cleaner to work in accordance with the instructions and then flush the toilet thoroughly.
• Important: Depending on the product, do not leave the toilet seat down because any fumes could damage the seat. 
• For the outer surfaces, use a mild cleaning product and wipe with a cloth or sponge.
